Erratzu – Xorroxin – Iturburua

The Erratzu – Xorroxin Waterfall – Iturburua Route is a combined route that brings together some of the most emblematic and refreshing landscapes of the Baztan Valley, linking traditional paths, Atlantic forest and one of the most well-known waterfalls in the area.

The route starts in Erratzu, following rural paths and forest sections until reaching the spectacular Xorroxin Waterfall, a natural spot of great beauty where water falls between moss-covered rocks, creating a humid and serene atmosphere.

From the waterfall, the route continues towards Iturburua, whose name refers to the head of the springs. In this section, the walker enters a cool and shady forest, with streams, springs and abundant vegetation, reinforcing the feeling of direct contact with nature.

This combined route allows you to enjoy varied landscapes in a single itinerary, with an accessible, well-defined path that is very appealing at any time of the year.
