Erratzu – Arizkun – Bozate

The Erratzu – Arizkun – Bozate Route is a trail that combines nature and historical memory through the traditional paths of the Baztan Valley.

The route starts in Erratzu, passes through the center of Arizkun and continues to Bozate, one of the places with the greatest historical and symbolic significance in the valley.

The path runs through green meadows, traditional farmhouses, stone walls and streams, showcasing a rural landscape deeply connected to everyday life in the Baztan. Along the route, you can sense the transition between villages and neighborhoods, as well as the importance of these paths as routes of connection and communication.

Bozate, historically known as the Agote quarter, invites reflection on the social past of the valley and adds significant cultural and ethnographic value to the route. Reaching this place turns the walk into an experience that goes beyond the landscape, connecting the walker with the history and identity of the Baztan.

Thanks to its comfortable layout and gentle elevation, this route is ideal for hikers of all levels, people interested in local history and families with children used to walking.
