At Camping Baztán, your pets are welcome
At Camping Baztán, we know your four-legged friend is part of the family. Here, dogs are welcome and can enjoy nature, wide green spaces, and the valley’s trails with you. Here you’ll find all the amenities to make your stay perfect.
1.- Dogs and other domestic animals that do not pose a danger or nuisance to other guests will be allowed. In any case, within the campsite facilities, animals must ALWAYS remain on a leash or enclosed.
2.- The management reserves the right to indicate to guests traveling with pets where to set up within the camping area.
3.- Please note that Camping Baztán is located in a mountain setting with a high density of wild animal species, especially at night. Therefore, pet owners should be aware that their pets’ behavior may be affected after dark and, as a result, they may start barking during the night.
4.- Any user, guest, or visitor whose pet’s behavior disturbs the peace and harmony of other campers, or who fails to comply with the rules of coexistence or the provisions of these regulations, will not be admitted to the campsite or will be expelled from it, with the assistance of law enforcement if necessary. Particular emphasis is placed on incidents that may occur during other guests’ rest hours, from 00:00 to 8:00 AM.
5.- Any pet whose entry is authorized must be registered and pay the corresponding fee, and the management may request its health documentation at any time.
6.- The authorized pet must remain at all times with its owner, on a leash and under control. If necessary, it must wear an appropriate muzzle.
7.- It is strictly forbidden to walk pets within the campsite for the purpose of relieving themselves. The owner of the dog or pet is required to collect any waste and dispose of it in closed bags in the bins.
8.- The presence of dogs and other animals is strictly prohibited in the following areas and facilities:
a) Toilets, washrooms, showers, laundry areas, and dishwashing areas.
b) inside the main building.
9.- It is allowed to stay on the bar and restaurant terrace with your pet, kept on a short leash tied to the chair.
10.- In the event of abandonment, understood as the animal wandering without its owner, it will be collected by security services and, within 24 hours, transferred to the municipal pound or shelter. Any fees arising from its recovery will be borne by the owner.
11.- The owner of the animal will be responsible for any damage it may cause to other campers, their property, or the campsite facilities.
12.- The above rules are without prejudice to the right of free access, movement, and stay within the establishment accompanied by guide dogs, which must be recognized for guests or users with visual impairments, provided that they comply with the applicable health and hygiene regulations.
