Very close to the campsite runs the Bidasoa Greenway, a natural and accessible route that follows the old Bidasoa railway line. It is a perfect route to enjoy with the family, take a relaxing walk or cycle surrounded by nature.
The path runs alongside the Bidasoa River, crossing forests, meadows and small villages in the valley, with a comfortable surface and no steep slopes. Thanks to its gentle layout, it is ideal for all audiences, including children and beginner cyclists.
The Greenway is perfect for families with children, strollers and beginner cyclists. We recommend starting the route in Elizondo if you are looking for a more urban section with nearby services, or in Doneztebe if you prefer a more natural and peaceful setting.
The Bidasoa Greenway is a former railway line converted into a pleasant natural path, ideal for walking or cycling. Access from the campsite is easy and allows you to join the route at different points along the valley.
By car (recommended access points)
You can easily reach several signposted access points of the greenway by car:
Option 1 – Elizondo access
Approximate time: 10–15 minutes
Option 2 – Doneztebe / Santesteban access
Approximate time: 15–20 minutes
Parking: free at the main access points
On foot or by bicycle
From the campsite, it is possible to connect with rural paths that link to the greenway, especially for cyclists or regular hikers. It is a very attractive option for those seeking a more active, car-free experience.
